Cancellation policy

Plans change. Here is how cancelling your booking works.

Free cancellation

You can cancel at no cost up to 48 hours before your pick-up time.

Cancellation charges. Up to 48 hours: if you cancel your reservation prior to 48 hours from the pickup date and time, there is no cancellation fee. Within 24 to 48 hours: if you cancel your reservation 24 to 48 hours before the pickup date and time, there will be a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total hire amount. On the day of pickup: if you cancel your reservation on the day of pickup or if you fail to collect your vehicle, there will be a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total hire amount. Have you just booked but changed your mind? You can cancel your new reservation free of charge within 1 hour from the booking time.

Amendment Policy

Amendment charges. Up to 48 hours: if you amend your reservation prior to 48 hours from the pickup date and time, there is no amendment fee. However it may result in the rate booked being recalculated according to current rates. Within 24 to 48 hours: 50% of the total hire on cancellations. If you amend your reservation 24 to 48 hours before the pickup date and time, there will be a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the original total hire amount if the amended booking is then cancelled at any point. It may also result in the rate booked being recalculated according to current rates. On the day of pickup: 100% of the total hire on cancellations. If you amend your reservation on the day of pickup, there will be a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the original total hire amount if the amended booking is then cancelled at any point. It may also result in the rate booked being recalculated according to current rates.

The following is considered a booking amendment:

  • Change of name
  • Change to pickup and dropoff dates
  • Change to pickup and dropoff locations
  • Change of vehicle categories
